Community
The Village has a thriving and active community. The Royal Wedding in 2011 was celebrated with a very successful street party as was the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in June 2012.
The Parish Council provided commemorative mugs for all of the children aged under 12 for the Jubilee. Due to the wet weather, the food was served in the Village Hall but the sun shone long enough for everyone to be able to enjoy the traffic free Village street.
VILLAGE CHRISTMAS PARTY
The village Christmas party will be in the in the Village Hall on Friday 21st December from 6 to 8 pm. There will be mulled wine, punches, mince pies and so on. No charge, but contributions to the hall will be welcome.
